DIGRID — Privacy Policy

DIGRID (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you play our mobile game.

1. Information We Collect

Account & Profile

A randomly generated username (e.g. user_12345678)
Your email address, if you choose to link an account
Your Google account display name and email, if you sign in with Google
Your Google profile photo URL, if you sign in with Google and choose to display it (you can switch to an SVG avatar at any time in Settings)
Account type: anonymous or registered

Gameplay Data

Games played, wins, and XP earned
Trophy progress and achievements
Match history (guess count, time taken)
Rank and league progression

Technical Data

Crash reports and diagnostic logs (via Firebase Crashlytics)
App usage events (via Firebase Analytics)
Device type and operating system version (anonymous)
Android Advertising ID (AAID) — used by Google AdMob for ad frequency capping and fraud prevention. You can reset or limit this ID through your Android system settings.

We do not collect your real name, phone number, location, contacts, or payment information.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and maintain your game profile
To display your stats, rank, and trophies
To show leaderboard rankings
To enable multiplayer matchmaking
To send verification emails when you link an account
To diagnose crashes and improve game stability
To measure and improve game features through analytics
To serve relevant advertisements through Google AdMob

3. Third-Party Services

DIGRID uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Firebase (Google LLC)

We use Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics, and Crashlytics. Firebase may process data on servers in the United States and other countries. Learn more at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Google AdMob

DIGRID displays interstitial and rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. In the European Economic Area and United Kingdom, we display a consent form (User Messaging Platform) before showing personalized ads. Users who decline will receive non-personalized ads. Outside these regions, personalized ads are shown by default. You can change your ad preferences at any time through Settings → Ad Preferences (where available). 4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account through the app, all associated data — including your profile, stats, trophies, and username — is permanently erased within 30 days.

Anonymous accounts are retained as long as the game is installed. Uninstalling the app permanently removes your anonymous session.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Right to access the data we hold about you
Right to erasure (delete your account via Settings → Delete Account)
Right to data portability
Right to object to or restrict processing
Right to withdraw consent for personalized ads (via ad consent form)

6. Children’s Privacy

DIGRID is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including Firebase security rules, encrypted data transfer (HTTPS), and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through an in-app notice. Continued use of DIGRID after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
